HUBUNGAN SENSE OF SCHOOL BELONGING DAN KEBAHAGIAAN PADA SISWA SMA

Abstract

Rasa memiliki di sekolah dapat diartikan sebagai perasaan diterima, dihargai, dan didukung oleh teman sebaya dan guru. Salah satu hal yang berkaitan dengan rasa memiliki di sekolah, yaitu kebahagiaan. Siswa dengan sense of school belonging dan kebahagiaan yang tinggi, akan menunjukkan prestasi akademik yang baik dan banyak terlibat dalam kegiatan-kegiatan di sekolah. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara sense of school belonging dan kebahagiaan pada siswa SMA. Alat ukur penelitian ini menggunakan Psychological Sense of School Membership (PSSM) yang dikembangkan oleh Goodenow (1993) dan juga Oxford Happiness Scale yang dikembangkan oleh Peter dan Michael (2002). Penelitian ini dilakukan di SMA Negeri X yang berlokasi di Kota Tangerang Selatan dengan jumlah partisipan sebanyak 228. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa adanya hubungan positif signifikan antara sense of school belonging dan kebahagiaan.
