PERAN EMPOWERING LEADERSHIP DAN AFFECTIVE COMMITMENT TERDAHAP WORK-LIFE BALANCE DIMEDIASI OLEH WORK ENGAGEMENT PADA KARYAWAN ORGANISASI PERBANKAN DI JAKARTA BARAT

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh Empowering Leadership dan Affective Commitment terhadap Work Engagement dan Work-Life Balance pada karyawan organisasi perbankan BUMN di Jakarta Barat. Melalui statistik deskriptif, ditemukan bahwa karyawan cukup merasakan adanya tindakan seperti pendelegasian wewenang, akuntabilitas, pengambilan keputusan mandiri, berbagi informasi, pengembangan keterampilan, dan pelatihan untuk kinerja inovatif. Karyawan juga menunjukkan komitmen afektif yang tinggi, yang berdampak positif terhadap hubungan dengan rekan kerja dan atasan, serta lingkungan kerja yang harmonis dan kolaboratif. Selain itu, tingkat Work Engagement yang tinggi, yang mencakup vigor, dedikasi, dan absorpsi, serta keseimbangan kehidupan kerja yang baik, turut dirasakan oleh karyawan. Hasil pengujian hipotesis menunjukkan bahwa: Empowering Leadership berpengaruh positif terhadap Work Engagement dan Work-Life Balance. Karyawan yang diberdayakan cenderung lebih bertanggung jawab, terlibat, dan merasa dihargai, yang meningkatkan motivasi intrinsik dan keterikatan emosional terhadap pekerjaan mereka. Affective Commitment berpengaruh positif terhadap Work Engagement, namun tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap Work-Life Balance. Work Engagement berpengaruh positif terhadap Work-Life Balance. Work Engagement memediasi pengaruh Empowering Leadership dan Affective Commitment terhadap Work-Life Balance, Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan pentingnya peran Work Engagement dalam memperkuat pengaruh Empowering Leadership dan Affective Commitment terhadap Work-Life Balance, serta perlunya strategi tambahan untuk meningkatkan keseimbangan kehidupan kerja karyawan.
