ANALYSIS OF THE IMPLEMENTATION OF SUSTAINABLE SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGEMENT BASED ON ISPO CERTIFICATION PRINCIPLES IN PALM OIL COMPANIES IN INDONESIA IN 2021
Abstract
Kelapa sawit merupakan salah satu tanaman perkebunan penghasil minyak nabati yang juga merupakan komoditas perkebunan unggulan yang memiliki peran strategis dalam pembangunan ekonomi Indonesia. Pendirian lahan perkebunan kelapa sawit di Indonesia dinilai tidak mengimplementasikan tujuan pembangunan keberlanjutan karena akan merusak lingkungan. Konsumen memberikan tuntutan kepada perusahaan untuk menghasilkan produk dengan proses produksi yang menjaga komitmen berkelanjutan. Sustainable Supply Chain Management (SSCM) adalah manajemen aliran material, informasi dan modal yang merupakan kerjasama antar perusahaan sepanjang rantai pasok dengan mengintegrasikan tujuan-tujuan yang mencakup ketiga dimensi pembangunan berkelanjutan yaitu ekonomi, lingkungan, dan sosial yang dijabarkan dari tuntutan-tuntutan pelanggan dan pemangku kepentingan. Sistem sertifikasi Indonesian Sustainable Palm Oil (ISPO) merupakan prasyarat wajib yang ditetapkan pemerintah untuk perkebunan kelapa sawit untuk memperbaiki tata kelola sawit yang lebih berkelanjutan.
