DESIGN AND CONSTRUCTION OF A WEB-BASED FOOTBALL COMPETITION REGISTRATION AND MANAGEMENT APPLICATION IN SAMBAS REGENCY

Abstract

Football is a highly popular sport in Sambas Regency. However, the registration and competition management processes are still conducted manually, often leading to issues in recording team data, match schedules, and competition results. Therefore, a web-based system is needed to facilitate participant registration and manage the competition more efficiently and transparently. This study aims to design and develop a web-based application that can be used by organizers, participating teams, and related parties for managing football competitions in Sambas Regency. The application features team registration, match scheduling management, match result recording, and competition data recapitulation. The results of this study are expected to produce an application that enhances efficiency in competition registration and management, reduces data recording errors, and provides easy access to information for participants and organizers. With this application, football competition management in Sambas Regency is expected to be more professional and well-organized.
