ATTITUDE, MESSAGE FRAMING, SELF EFFICACY AMONG HEALTH WORKERS IN PARIAMAN CITY
Abstract
This study aims to look at several variables related to the internal psychology of health workers related to their competence in carrying out their duties and to conduct a model intervention to improve the competence of health workers who manage PIS-PK in the Puskesmas of Pariaman City. This research was conducted using a mixed method of quantitative and qualitative with saturated samples for quantitative and criterion-based selection for qualitative research. The results of the first phase of the study found that staff attitudes towards the program and self-efficacy as well as the ability to frame messages were still in the low min category. In the second stage of the study, it was found that there were several issues that needed to be improved in relation to the three variables studied in stage one. While in the third stage, through psychoeducation intervention, this study found that there were differences in the attitudes and ability to frame messages of PIS-PK officers in Pariaman city before and after psychoeducation. While the self-efficacy variable has not shown a significant increase.
